Ahem - this was a lovely idea. A homeless fund raiser for the homeless with some homeless and some non homeless people performing. Open up the Guildhall, sell some beer....sweet.
Unfortunately it went terribly, the mixing desk had some sort of breakdown (as did the soundman), as a result there were no sound checks, not good in a room with more reverb than a church... we had to cut our set short (never done by choice in 6 years of Sunday D'ing). Quote of the night came from the extremely charismatic MC - "How can you call yerself a soundman - if ya ain't got any sound ?"
Indeed my young padawan, how can you?

March 2006
Living Room gig 2/3 - we played a blinding set at the Living Room last week, they've picked us for the CD. We aired our latest creations on the sitar to the audience who applauded happily, either in relief that we made it to the end of the song or in pleasure... we're not sure , but it was damn fine fun!
